How does it work?

Create an account or enter your personal area to update your personal and contact details. You'll be able to submit abstracts in just a few weeks. OMC Med Energy Programme Committee will evaluate all applications and by October authors will be notified about the status of their abstracts.

Authors of selected contributions will be asked to:

sign a copyright transfer agreement
confirm that the full paper they are going to present has never appeared elsewhere
submit a full paper (max 14 pages) within the set deadline
identify 1 Speaker per paper (benefitting from discounted registration fees)
perform Speaker registration to attend the conference
present their work within the allotted session at OMC Med Energy 2027

Please note that abstracts of commercial nature and work having had previous circulation won't be accepted. Abstracts should reflect work completed at the time of submission, not ideas taking shape or research that is still immature.

Long term visibility: papers are published in the Conference proceedings available for free download to conference delegates. OMC Med Energy Papers can also be purchased from OnePetro online library
Speakers are eligible for one of OMC Med Energy Awards announced on the closing day.

How to prepare your abstract(s)

Length: minimum 400 - maximum 800 words in good English, no pictures/graphs, no tradenames.
Content: highlight contributions in terms of knowledge, experience, possible applications, results, technical, economic and innovation enhancement. The abstract should be an accurate summary of the full paper and not a mere recital of the subjects to be covered.
