“The Levers of Decarbonization in the Energy Sector”
An increasing number of energy companies have committed to reducing or eliminating emissions in the medium-long term. To achieve this target they are massively investing in technologies, adopting strategies and new business models that aim at combining economic with environmental and social sustainability. The panel will explore the major levers of decarbonization highlighting challenges and business opportunities in the medium and long term, introducing the viewpoints of several energy companies. In particular, they will analyze the technical solutions necessary to accompany the transition and meet the challenges in the near future.
